RESOLUTION NO. 2001-6
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE CONSTRUCTION
OF THE CANNON ROADKARLSBAD BOULEVARD PROJECT,
PROJECT NO. 36081/36711 AND APPROVING ADDITIONAL
CONTINGENCY FUNDS.
WHEREAS, the construction of the Cannon Road/Carlsbad Boulevard project has been
satisfactorily completed; and
WHEREAS, the formal project Notice of Completion has been prepared; and
WHEREAS, all project costs have been established to date; and
WHEREAS, an additional contingency amount of $15,000 is required to complete the
project; and
WHEREAS, there are sufficient appropriations available in the project account for the
additional contingency.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the construction of the Cannon Road/Carlsbad Boulevard project, specifically
identified as Project No. 36081/36711, is deemed complete and hereby accepted.
3. The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and directed to execute
the Notice of Completion and have same recorded.
4. That bonds will be released in accordance with State Law and City Ordinances.
5. That an additional contingency of $15,000 is hereby approved.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City Council
held on the 9th day of January , 2001 by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Me Kulchin, Finnila, Nygaard and Hall.
