CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE FINAL MAP FOR
CARLSBAD TRACT CT 98-23, LA COSTA GREENS, AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK TO PROCESS THE FINAL
MAP FOR RECORDATION.
5 WHEREAS, Pacific Beach Development, LLC, a California limited liability company has
6 submitted a final map known as Carlsbad Tract CT 98-23, La Costa Greens, to the City of Carlsbad
7 for approval; and
8 WHEREAS, the tentative map of Carlsbad Tract CT 98-23 with conditions, was approved by
9 Planning Commission on November 17, 1999 per PC Resolution No. 4650; and
10 WHEREAS, the City Engineer has determined that said map substantially conforms to said
11 conditionally approved tentative map; and
12 WHEREAS, the conditions of approval for said final map have been completed or

secured; and
WHEREAS, the developer has offered public easements for dedication to the City of
Carlsbad; and

WHEREAS, the City Engineer has determined that the existing sewer easement traversing
the subdivision granted per Map number 6708 is no longer required, and recommends abandonment
17 of said easement pursuant to Section 66499.20”2 of the Subdivision Map Act; and
18 WHEREAS, the final map conforms to the City of Carlsbad General Plan and all
19 requirements of City Codes and Standards; and
20 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad determined it to be in the public interest
21 to approve said final map; and
22 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
California, as follows: 23
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.

2. That said final map known as Carlsbad Tract CT 98-23, La Costa Greens, which is on
25 file with the City Engineer and is incorporated herein by reference, is accepted.
26 3. That the City accepts the dedications shown on the final map.

1 4. That the City hereby acknowledges abandonment of the existing sewer easement
2 within this subdivision granted per Map number 6708 pursuant to Section 66499.201’2 of the
3 Subdivision Map Act.
5. That the City Clerk is authorized to sign the Certificate of Acceptance on the 4
final map.
5 5. That the City Clerk is authorized to cause the original final map be recorded in the
6 Office of the County Recorder of San Diego County, State of California.
7 6. That the City Clerk is authorized to release the final map to Chicago Title Company
8 for recording in the Office of the County Recorder.

10 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City Council
