RESOLUTION NO. 2001- 100
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING OUT OF STATE
TRAVEL FOR Five PEOPLE TO ATTEND THE ICMA BEST
PRACTICES/PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENT CONFERENCE IN
PROVIDENCE, RHODE ISLAND.
WHEREAS, a City Council goal is to increase the level of customer service to City
residents and staff via performance measurements; and
WHEREAS, the ICMA Practices/Performance Measurement Conference in Rhode
Island would benefit City Services; and
WHEREAS, the City Council concurs with staffs request to authorize out of state travel
for members of the team to attend the ICMA Best Practices/Performance Measurement Conference in
Rhode Island from April 25,200l until May 1,200l.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
as follows:

That the above recitations are correct.
That out of state travel is hereby authorized, in accordance with City policy, for
five attendees to attend this conference.
3. That funds are available through the City Managers, and the other attendees
major service area’s budget to cover the associated travel costs for these site
visits.

louncil held on the gday of April , 200 1, by the following vote, to wit:
