RESOLUTION NO. 2001-133
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE BID AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT TO REMODEL PUBLIC RESTROOMS AT MAGEE PARK TO CONFORM WITH AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT STANDARDS - BID NO. FACOl-08
WHEREAS, a bid has been received by the City of Carlsbad, California to remodel the
public restrooms at Magee Park to conform with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
standards; and
WHEREAS, the responsive bid received was submitted by Lesicka Construction in the
amount of $25,837; and
WHEREAS, the total cost of this project is $30,000 including contingency funds; and
WHEREAS, sufficient funds are available in the Capital Improvement Program budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad as
follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. The bid of $25,837 by Lesicka Construction to remodel the public restrooms at
Magee Park to conform with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards and a
contingency account of $4,000 is hereby accepted.
3. The Purchasing Officer is hereby authorized to execute a purchase order for this
project.

4. That the Mayor of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and directed to execute
a contract for and on behalf of the City of Carlsbad.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City
Council held on the 1st day of May , 2001 by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Kulchin, Finnila, Nygaard and Hall.
NOES: None.
