2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA APPROVING AN AGREEMENT 3 WITH THE LAW FIRM OF KANE, BALLMER & BERKMAN
4 REGARDING AN ADJUSTMENT OF FEES FOR LEGAL SERVICES
5 WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad, entered into an Agreement for legal
6
services with Kane, Ballmer & Berkman in October 1989: and
6 WHEREAS, the rates for legal services have not been adjusted since 1990;
9 and
10 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, finds it necessary and
11 appropriate to maintain the level of topquality legal services,
12 2 gj NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the

Council of the City of Carlsbad on the 5th day of June 2001, by the
following vote, to wit:
