A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA,
ACCEPTING A GIFT OF $1,000 FROM THE CARLSBAD LIONS
CLUB AND APPROPRIATING DONATION TO THE LIBRARY
GIFTS AND BEQUESTS FUND.
WHEREAS, the Carlsbad Lions Club has donated $1,000 to the library, and;
WHEREAS, the library and the Carlsbad Lions Club have agreed that this
6 donation will be used to purchase reading materials for the visually impaired;
7 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
6 Carlsbad, California, as follows:
9 1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. 10 That the City Council accepts the gift of $1,000 from the Carlsbad Lions Club
on behalf of all citizens of Carlsbad, and hereby appropriates these funds to
11 the Library Gifts and Bequests Fund.
12 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council
13 of the City of Carlsbad, California, at a regular meeting held on the 26-u-L day
14 of June , 2001, by the following vote, to wit:
