RESOLUTION NO. 2001-243
CONSULTANT SERVICES TO ASSIST WITH PROCESSING
CITY CAPITAL PROJECTS AND COORDINATION WITH
OUTSIDE AGENCIES
WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad requires the assistance of outside consultants
on the processing of state and federal permits for City capital projects; and
WHEREAS, the City is familiar with consultants who possess unique experience
and expertise to provide the needed assistance; and
WHEREAS, Dawson West possesses expertise in federal matters; and
WHEREAS, McCabe and Company possesses in state matters, particularly the
Coastal Commission; and
WHEREAS, Fox and Sohagi is a law firm specializing in environmental matters
for public agencies.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into standard City consulting
agreements with Dawson West, McCabe and Company, and Fox and
Sohagi.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad on the 7th day of Auqust 2001, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Nygaard and Hall.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Council Member Finnila.
