RESOLUTION NO. 2001-246
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, APPROVING OUT-OF-STATE TRAVEL TO ATTEND
TRAINING FOR THE STORSERVER TAPE LIBRARY BACKUP
SYSTEM
WHEREAS, the City Council has previously authorized the purchase and installation
of an enterprise-wide tape library backup system, STORSewer 2000, and;
WHEREAS, two (2) Information Technology staff require training in order to
effectively operate and administer the system; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad
as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That out-of-state travel is hereby authorized, in accordance with City
Policy, for two (2) Information Technology staff members to attend formal training for the
tape library backup system in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Carlsbad held on the 7th day of August , 2001 by the
following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Nygaard and Hall.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Council Member
