HomeMy WebLinkAbout2001-08-07; City Council; Resolution 2001-2471 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 RESOLUTION NO. 2001-247 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING OUT OF STATE TRAVEL FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE MER 2001 CONFERENCE IN CHICAGO, ILLINOIS WHEREAS, the Assistant City Clerk has been invited to speak at the MER 2001 Conference, regarding the City’s Document Management System and document conversion project; and WHEREAS, the City Council concurs with staffs request to authorize out of state travel for the Assistant City Clerk to attend and participate in the Managing Electronic Records (MER) 2001 Annual Conference in Chicago, Illinois. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, as follows: 1, That the above recitations are correct. 2. That out of state travel is hereby authorized, in accordance with City policy, for the Assistant City Clerk to attend the MER 2001 Conference in Chicago, Illinois, September 23-26,200l. 3. That the City Council hereby approves the expenditure of $2,000, from the Records Management budget to cover the associated travel costs for this conference. PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City Council held on the 7th day of Auqust ,2001, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Nygaard and Hall. NOES None. ABSENT: Council Member Finnila. (SEAL)
