RESOLUTION NO. 2001-302
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE PLANS AND
SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENT FOR
BIDS FOR THE RECONSTRUCTION OF CHARLEEN CIRCLE,
PROJECT NOS. 3623/3679.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California has determined it
necessary and in the public interest to approve plans and specifications, and to authorize
publishing an advertisement for bids for the Reconstruction of Charleen Circle, Project Nos.
3623/3679; and
WHEREAS, there are sufficient funds available in the project account and, therefore, there
are sufficient funds available for construction of this project; and
WHEREAS, plans and specifications for the Reconstruction of Charleen Circle,
Project Nos. 3623/3679 have been prepared by the engineering staff, are incorporated herein by
reference, and are available for review in the Engineering Department.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the plans, specifications and cost estimate submitted by the engineering staff
are hereby approved.

1 3. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to publish, in accordance with
2 Section 3.28.080 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code, the Notice to Contractors Inviting Bids for the
3 Reconstruction of Charleen Circle.

5 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City Council
