RESOLUTION NO. 2001-347
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING PLANS AND
SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK TO
ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE
AVIARA PARKWAY AND KINGFISHER LANE TRAFFIC SIGNAL,
PROJECT NO. 3369-2.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, has determined it
necessary, desirable, and in the public interest to construct a traffic signal at the intersection of
4viara Parkway and Kingfisher Lane; and
WHEREAS, the plans and specifications for furnishing of all labor, materials, tools,
equipment, transportation, and other expenses necessary or incidental of said project have been
Irepared and are on file in the Engineering Department of the City of Carlsbad and are
ncorporated by reference herein; and
WHEREAS, said project was included in the 2000/2001 Capital Improvement Program;
and
WHEREAS, funding from Assessment District 88-01 includes sufficient funds to construct
his project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,

That the above recitations are true and correct.
That the plans, specifications and contract documents as presented are hereby

1 3. The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and directed to publish,
2 in accordance with State law, a Notice to Contractors Inviting Bids for the construction of the
3 Aviara Parkway and Kingfisher Lane Traffic Signal, Project No. 3369-2, in accordance with the
4 plans, specifications and contract documents referred to herein.

6 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City Council
7 held on the hth day of DECEMBER , 2001 by the following vote, to wit:
