RESOLUTION NO. 2002-018
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING OUT-OF-STATE
TRAVEL FOR A REPRESENTATIVE FROM COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT TO ATTEND THE NATIONAL AMERICAN
PLANNING ASSOCIATION CONFERENCE IN CHICAGO,
ILLINOIS.
WHEREAS, the National American Planning Association (APA) Conference is an educational
and information forum: and
WHEREAS, the City Council concurs that it is in the public interest to authorize out-of-state
travel for a representative from Community Development to attend the National APA Conference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
California. as follows:
1. That the above recitations are correct
2. That out-of-state travel is hereby authorized, in accordance with City Policy, for a
representative from Community Development to attend the National APA Conference in Chicago, Illinois.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City Council held
onthe 15th day of JANUARY ,2002 by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Finnila, Nygaard, Hall
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
