A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE WORK AS COMPLETE AND DIRECTING THE RECORDATION OF THE NOTICE OF COMPLETION II FOR INSTALLING A CONTAINMENT ENCLOSURE FOR THE
EMERGENCY CHLORINE SCRUBBER SYSTEM AT THE CARLSBAD SWIM COMPLEX
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has previously appropriated funds for
furnishing and installing a containment enclosure for the emergency chlorine scrubber system at
the Carlsbad Swim Complex, hereinafter referred to as the “Project;” and
WHEREAS, the City Council has previously awarded a construction contract for the
project; and
WHEREAS, the Project work has been satisfactory completed; and
WHEREAS, a Notice of Completion has been prepared for the Project: and
WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds it necessary, desirable, and in the public interest
to accept the completed work for furnishing and installing a containment enclosure for the
emergency chlorine scrubber system at the Carlsbad Swim Complex.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad as
follows:

2. That the completed work is hereby accepted and the City Clerk is directed to record
le Notice of Completion and to release the bonds thirty-five days after recordation for said
'roject.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City
f Carlsbad held on the 19th day of FEBRUARY , 2002 by the following Vote, to
