RESOLUTION NO. 2002-059
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, APPROVING CONTRACT DOCUMENTS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS
AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE
FOR BIDS TO FURNISH AND INSTALL A SYNTHETIC TURF ATHLETIC FIELD
AT POINSETTIA PARK AND ACCESS STAIRS AT POINSETTIA PARK AND
STAGECOACH PARK- CONTRACT NO. PKSO2-04
WHEREAS, the contract documents, special provisions and specificatinns for the
umishing of all labor, material and equipment necessary to furnish and install; a synthetic turf
thletic field at Poinsettia Park access stairs to the Poinsettia Park fmld and access stairs to the
snnis facilities at Stagecoach Park, Contract No. PKS02-04 have been prepared and are on file
1 the Public WorkdGeneral Services Office and are incorporated by reference herein; and
WHEREAS, sufficient funds are available for this project in the Capital Improvement
'roject budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad.
:aliornia. as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. The contract documents. special provisions and specifications on file at the Office of
the City Clerk hereto are hereby approved.
3. That the city Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and directed to
proceed to publish, in accordance with law. Notice Inviting Bids for the work of said
contract documents, special provisions and specifications.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City Council
eld on the day of FEBRUARY, 2002 by the following vote, to wit:
