RESOLUTION NO. 2002-063
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING MAYOR PRO TEM
MEMBER KULCHIN AND THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR OUT
OF STATE TRAVEL TO ATTEND A MEETING AT THE U.S. ARMY
CORPS OF ENGINEERS WATER EXPERIMENTAL STATION
WES) IN VICKSBURG. MISSISSIPPI ON MARCH 13-15, 2002.
WHEREAS, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has invited Carlsbad representatives to
attend a meeting at the Water Experimental Station (WES) station in Vicksburg, Mississippi on
March 13-1 5, 2002; and
WHEREAS, the City believes it will be valuable for a Council Member and the Public
Works Director to attend this meeting; and
WHEREAS, funds are available in the amount of $2,300 in the FY 2001-2002 Council and
Public Works Department budgets.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
California that permission is granted to Mayor Pro Tern Ann Kulchin and the Public Works Director
to travel out of state to attend this meeting.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City Council
held on the 5th day of MARCH , 2002 by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Finnila, Nygaard, Hall
