RESOLUTION NO. 2002-105
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING CONTRACT
AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE FOR
DOCUMENTS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND SPECIFICATIONS
VARIOUS PARK SITES
BIDS TO PROVIDE PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT UPGRADES AT
WHEREAS, the contract documents, special provisions and specifications for the
furnishing of all labor, material and equipment necessary to provide playground upgrades at
tarious park sites, Contract No. PKS02-05 have been prepared and are on file in the Public
WorkslGeneral Services and are incorporated by reference herein; and
WHEREAS, sufficient funds are available for this project in the C.I.P. Program budget and
n the Park Maintenance Capital Outlay and Maintenance 8, Operations budgets.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
Salifornia, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the contract documents, special provisions and specifications on file in the
General Services Department are hereby approved.
3. That the City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and directed to
proceed to publish, in accordance with law, Notice Inviting Bids for the work of said contract
documents, special provisions and specifications.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City Council
held on the 9th day of APRIL , 2002 by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Nygaard, Hall
