A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING CONTRACT
AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE FOR
DOCUMENTS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND SPECIFICATIONS
CAIAVERA COMMUNITY CENTER
BIDS TO INSTALL NEW GYMNASIUM EQUIPMENT AT
WHEREAS, the contract documents, special provisions and specifications for the
urnishing of all labor, material and equipment necessary to install new gymnasium equipment at
>alavera Community Center, Contract No. FAC02-15 have been prepared and are on file in the
'ublic WorkdGeneral Services and are incorporated by reference herein: and
WHEREAS, sufficient funds are available for this project in the Recreation-Calavera
>spital Outlay and Maintenance & Operations budgets.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
>alifornia, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the contract documents, special provisions and specifications on file in the
jeneral Services Department are hereby approved.
3. That the City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and directed to
Iroceed to publish, in accordance with law, Notice Inviting Bids for the work of saidxontract
locuments, special provisions and specifications.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City Council
ield on the 16th day of APRIL ,2002 by the following vote, to wit:
