RESOLUTION NO. 2002-120
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO. 1
AND ALLOCATING FUNDS FROM THE CONTINGENCY
ACCOUNT FOR THE POOL IMPROVEMENTS AT THE
CARLSBAD SWIM COMPLEX
WHEREAS, on February 19, 2002, Council awarded a contract to provide pool
improvements at the Carlsbad Swim Complex; and
WHEREAS, an unforeseen expenditure has occurred that will exceed the projects
approved contingency fund; and
WHEREAS, additional funding needs to be appropriated in the Recreation-Aquatic Capital
Outlay Budget; and
WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds it necessary, desirable, and in the public interest
to approve Change Order No. 1 for the Pool Improvements at the Carlsbad Swim Complex,
Contract No. FAC02-12; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct. )I 2. That $15,430 be allocated from the City Council Contingency Account to the
Recreation-Aquatic Capital Outlay Budget.
3. That the City Council does hereby approve Change Order No. 1 for the Pool
Improvements Project at the Carlsbad Swim Complex, Contract No. FAC02-12 and authorizes the
Mayor to sign said change order.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City Council
held on the 16th day of APRIL ,2002 by the following vote, to wit: ,
