HomeMy WebLinkAbout2002-04-23; City Council; Resolution 2002-1261 2 3 4 5 6 7 6 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 RESOLUTION NO. 2o02-126 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF GUARD RAIL AT MISCELLANEOUS LOCATIONS. PROJECT NO. 9022-1. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, has determined it necessary, desirable, and in the public interest to construct guard rail at miscellaneous locations; and WHEREAS, the plans and specifications for furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and other expenses necessary or incidental of said project have been prepared and are on file in the Engineering Department of the City of Carlsbad and are Incorporated by reference herein; and WHEREAS, funding from Fiscal Year 2001-2002 Engineering Operating Budget, Capital 3utlay includes sufficient funds to construct this project. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, Zalifornia, as follows: 1. That the above recitations are true and correct and plans and specifications are on file in the Engineering Department of the City of Carlsbad 2. The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and directed to publish, I accordance with State law, a Notice to Contractors Inviting Bids for the construction of the hard Rail Installation at Miscellaneous Locations, Project No. 9022-1, in accordance with the )lans, specifications and contract documents referred to herein. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City Council leld on the 23rd day of APRIL , 2002 by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Finnila, Nygaard, Hall Page 2 of 2 of Resolution No. 2002-126
