HomeMy WebLinkAbout2002-06-18; City Council; Resolution 2002-1771 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 - Exhibit 2 RESOLUTION NO. ~002-177 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING THE CLASSIFICATION AND SALARY FOR FIRE MARSHAL, AND AMENDING THE MANAGEMENT SALARY STRUCTURE AND CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODE. WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends and the City Council concurs, that it is desirable and necessary to adopt the classification and salary of Fire Marshal in the Management Classification and Salary Plan; and, WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends and the City Council concurs, that it is desirable and necessary to amend the Management Salary Structure and Conflict of Interest Code to reflect this change. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, as follows: 1. That the above recitations are true and correct. 2. That the new classification of Fire Marshal at salary grade 6 in the Management Classification and Salary Plan as shown in Attachment A, attached to and incorporated into this resolution. 3. That the City Council authorize the amendment of the Conflict of Interest Code to add the position of Fire Marshal to the list of Designated Employees filing in disclosure categories 2 and 3, as shown in Attachment B, attached to and incorporated into this resolution.
