HomeMy WebLinkAbout2002-07-09; City Council; Resolution 2002-2041 2 3 4 5 6 7 a 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 EXHIBIT 2 RESOLUTION NO. 2002-204 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING THE NEW MANAGEMENT POSITION POLICE COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER AND AMENDING, THE MANAGMENT SALARY SCHEDULES AND CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODE RESPECTFULLY. WHEREAS, it is recommended that a new management position of Police Communications Manager is established to recognize the complexity of the Police Communications Department; and, WHEREAS, the data represented by the classification study warrants the initiation of the management position, Police Communication Manager, to meet the current position requirements; and convert the fimding of one vacant position. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, as follows: 1. That the above recitations are true and correct. 2. That the City Council authorizes the amendment of the revised Management Salary Structure to include Police Communications Manager in grade 5, as shown in Attachment A, attached hereto and made a part thereof. 3.
