HomeMy WebLinkAbout2002-07-23; City Council; Resolution 2002-2121 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 RESOLUTION NO. 2002-212 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE DESIGNATION OF AGENTS TO REPRESENT THE CITY IN ADMINISTRATION OF THE FEMA HAZARD MITIGATION GRANT WHEREAS, the Governor's Office of Emergency Services (OES) notified the City in June 1999 that the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) had approved an application for a Hazard Mitigation Grant to reduce flood impacts to the Rancho Carlsbad Mobile Home; and WHEREAS, OES requires the designation of an authorized Agent to act on all matters pertaining to the administration of the grant; and, WHEREAS, the previously designated agents have retired from their positions of employment with the City of Carlsbad. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, as follows: 1. That the above recitations are true and correct. 2. That Deputy Public Works Director, Glenn Pruim, and Deputy City Engineer, David Hauser, be designated as the authorized agents for all matters pertaining to the administration of the Hazard Mitigation Grant to reduce flood impacts to the Rancho Carlsbad Mobile Home Park. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City Council held on the 23rd day of JULY , 2002 by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Council Members Lewis, Nygaard, Hall NOES: None ers Kulchin, Finnila IIATTEST ,,
