RESOLUTION NO. 2002-254
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING PLANS AND
SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK TO
ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF
SOUTH AGUA HEDIONDA INTERCEPTOR (SAHI) PHASE II
REACH 111, PROJECT NO. 3583-2.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, has determined it
necessary, desirable and in the public interest to construct South Agua Hedionda Interceptor
(SAHI) Phase II Reach 111, Project No. 3583-2; and
WHEREAS, the plans and specifications for furnishing of all labor, materials, tools,
equipment, transportation, and other expenses necessary or incidental of said project have been
prepared and are on file in the Public Works-Engineering Department of the City of Carlsbad and
are incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct
2. That the plans, specifications, and contract documents on tile in the Public Works-
Engineering Department of the City of Callsbad for Project No. 3583-2 (South Agua Hedionda
Interceptor Phase II Reach Ill) are hereby approved.

3. The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and directed to publish,
in accordance with State law, a Notice to Contractors Inviting Bids for the construction of
South Agua Hedionda Interceptor (SAHI) Phase II Reach 111, Project No. 3583-2, in accordance
with the plans, specifications, and contract documents referred to herein.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City Council
held on the 13th day of AUGUST , 2002 by the following vote, to wit:
