RESOLUTION NO. 2003-020
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE DEDICATION OF A
SEWER EASEMENT TO LEUCADIA COUNTY WATER DISTRICT
ON A PORTION OF STAGECOACH PARK
WHEREAS, LDS Church project, CUP 01-04 was approved by the Planning Commission
on May 15,2002; and
WHEREAS, the sewer agency that serves the LDS Church project is Leucadia County
Water District; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer agrees that an additional sewer easement to Leucadia
County Water District is needed to facilitate the final design of the sewer that serves the LDS
Church; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has determined it to be in the public
interest to grant this easement to enable the sewer agency to maintain its facility; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the Grant Deed of sewer easement to Leucadia County Water District, which
is on file with the City Clerk and is incorporated by this reference; is approved.

3. That the Mayor is authorized to execute the Grant Deed of Sewer Easement to
.eucadia County Water District and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to cause the original sewer
!asement to be recorded in the Office of the County Recorder of San Diego County, State of
lalifornia.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City Council
leld on the 21st day of Januarv , 2003 by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Finnila, Kulchin, Hall and Packard.
