RESOLUTION NO. 2003-188
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE CONSTRUCTION OF
SIDEWALKS, STREET LIGHTING AND MEDIAN LANDSCAPE ON
ALGA ROAD FROM EL CAMINO REAL TO EL FUERTE, PROJECT
NOS. 3560.3616 AND 3637.
WHEREAS, the construction of Sidewalks, Street Lighting and Median Landscape on Alga
Road from El Camino Real to El Fuerte was completed to the City’s satisfaction by Terra-Cal
Construction Inc. on October 31,2002; and
WHEREAS, the formal project Notice of Completion has been prepared; and
WHEREAS, all project costs have been established to date.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the construction of Sidewalks, Street Lighting and Median Landscape on Alga
Road from El Camino Real to El Fuerte, specifically identified as Project Nos. 3560, 3616 and
3637, is deemed complete and is hereby accepted by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad.
3. The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and directed to execute
and record the Notice of Completion for the construction of Sidewalks, Street Lighting and Median
Landscape on Alga Road from El Camino Real to El Fuerte, Project Nos. 3560,3616 and 3637.
4. That the City Clerk is directed to release all bonds on Project Nos. 3560, 3616 and
3637 in accordance with State Law and City Ordinances.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City Council
held on the 15thday of JULY , 2003 by the following vote, to wit:
