RESOLUTION NO. 2003-346
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE PLANS
AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING THE
ADVERTISEMENT OF BIDS FOR AVIARA COMMUNITY
PARK, CITY PROJECT NO. 36991
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, has previously
appropriated fhds in the current budget for the construction of Aviara Community Park,
hereafter referred to as the “Project;” and
WHEREAS, the plans and specifications for the Project are complete and ready for
advertisement of construction bids and are on file in the Recreation Department of the City of
Carlsbad; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does hereby find it necessary, desirable, and in the
public interest to proceed with the construction of Aviara Community Park at this time.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct
2. That the City Council does hereby approve the plans and specifications for the
construction of Aviara Community Park and authorizes the City Clerk, in
accordance with State law, to advertise for bids for the construction of Aviara
Community Park.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City
of Carlsbad on the 16 th day of DECEMBER ,2003, by the following vote:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Finnila, Kulchin, Hall and Packard
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
