RESOLUTION NO 2004-046
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA7 RATIFYING A TEMPORARY
AGENCY CONTRACT AND APPROVING AN INCREASE TO
THE TEMPORARY AGENCY CONTRACT WITH
MANPOWER
WHEREAS, recent special projects required $1 10,000 of additional services from
Manpower for contract year February 2003 through February 2004; and
WHEREAS, forecasted utilization of Manpower is estimated to be $700,000 for contract
year February 2004 through February 2005.
NOW, THEREFORE7 BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the City Council approves Ratification of Amendment No. One Amending the
Agreement for Temporary Staffing Services with CPM Limited a.k.a. Manpower, a
Nevada Corporation.

3. That the City Council approves Amendment No. Two to Extend the Agreement for
Temporary Staffing Services with CPM Limited a.k.a. Manpower, a Nevada
Corporation.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad on the 10th day of February ,2004, by the following vote:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Finnila, Kulchin, Hall and Packard
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
