RESOLUTION NO. 2004-098
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE DONATION
FROM THE 17TH ANNUAL KOKO BEACH GOLF
TOURNAMENT TOTALING THREE THOUSAND ONE
THE CARLSBAD SENIOR CENTER.
HUNDRED NINETY-FIVE DOLLARS ($3,195) IN SUPPORT OF
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, wishes to accept this donation
and acknowledge the generosity and support of KoKo Beach Restaurant owners Jeff King and Martin
Kouma who organized the golf tournament.
WHEREAS, on January 8,2004 the Senior Commission recommended acceptance of donations
totaling $3,195.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, as
follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the City Council does hereby accept the donation totaling three thousand one hundred and
ninety-five dollars ($3,195).
3. That the City Council authorizes the Finance Director to appropriate the $3,195 in donations into
the Senior Center Trust Account #1434567565 1.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City Council held
onthe 6th day of April , 2004 by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Finnila, Kulchin, Hall and Packard
NOES: None
