RESOLUTION NO. 2004-099
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE DONATIONS
TOTALING FIVE HUNDRED FORTY-NINE DOLLARS AND
SEVENTY-TWO CENTS, ($549.72) IN SUPPORT OF THE
CARLSBAD SENIOR CENTER.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, wishes to accept this donation
and acknowledge the generosity and support of Mrs. Julie Ritter, United Way, and an anonymous donor.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, as
follows:
WHEREAS, on January 8,2004 the Senior Commission recommended acceptance of donations
totaling $549.72.
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the City Council does hereby accept the donation totaling five hundred forty-nine dollars
and seventy-two cents ($549.72).
3. That the City Council authorizes the Finance Director to appropriate $549.72 in donations into
the Senior Center Trust Account #1434567565 1.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City Council held
on the 6th day of April , 2004 by the following vote, to wit:
AYES:Council Members Lewis, Finnila, Kulchin, Hall and Packard
