RESOLUTION NO. 2004-108
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING
MENT’S SUPPORT OPERATIONS COMMANDER AND
SYSTEMS ANALYST 111 TO CONDUCT A SITE VISIT TO
MANCHESTER, NEW HAMPSHIRE DURING MAY 2004,
OUT-OF-STATE TRAVEL FOR THE POLICE DEPART-
WHEREAS, the City Council concurs that it is in the public interest to authorize out-
of-state travel for the Police Department to conduct a site visit of public safety operations
conducted by the New Hampshire State Police; and
WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes that this is in support of the City’s Public
Safety Technology Project, a City goal, and this effort will enhance the project’s
effectiveness; and
WHEREAS, funds are available in the FY 2003-04 Police Department budget for
the out-of-state travel.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That out-of-state travel is hereby authorized in accordance with City policy for the
Police Department Support Operations Commander and Systems Analyst Ill to conduct a
site visit during May 2004 at New Hampshire State Police facilities.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Carlsbad, California, held on the 6th day of April , 2004, by the
following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Finnila, Kulchin, Hall
