RESOLUTION NO. 2004-143
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A GIFT OF MONEY
FOR THE FIRE DEPARTMENT EMERGENCY MEDICAL
SERVICES FUND
WHEREAS, the T. Luke Savage Family Foundation, wishes to make a donation
of $3,000 for the Fire Department Emergency Medical Services Fund,
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to accept this gift pursuant to Sections
37354 and 37355 of the California Government Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct;
2. That the City Council accepts the gift of money for the Fire Department
Emergency Medical Services Fund; and
3. That the Finance Director is authorized to appropriate $3,000 to the Fire
Department Emergency Medical Services Fund.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City
Council of the City of Carlsbad on the 4th day of May ,2004, by the following vote:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Finnila, Kulchin, Hall and Packard
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
