HomeMy WebLinkAbout2004-06-01; City Council; Resolution 2004-1741 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 RESOLUTION NO, 2004-174 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF SEACREST DRIVE, PROJECT NO. 3679. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, has determined it iecessary, desirable, and in the public interest to perform pavement reconstruction on Seacrest 3rive; and WHEREAS, the plans and specifications for furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, squipment, transportation, and other expenses necessary for Project No. 3679 have been Drepared and are on file in the Public Works-Engineering Department of the City of Carlsbad and 2re incorporated herein by reference; and WHEREAS, sufficient TransNet Local funds are available in the project account in order to Zonstruct Project No. 3679; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, :alifornia, as follows: 1. That the above recitations are true and correct. 2. That the plans, specifications, and contract documents for the improvement of Seacrest Drive, Project No. 3679, on file in the Public Works-Engineering Department of the City )f Carlsbad, are hereby approved. The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and directed to publish, in accordance with State law, a Notice to Contractors Inviting Bids for the improvement of Seacrest Drive, Project No. 3679, in accordance with the plans, specifications, and contract documents referred to herein. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City Council held on the 1st day of June , 2004 by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Council Members Lewis, Finnila, Kulchin, Hall and Packard NOES: None ABSENT: Non CLAUDE A.
