RESOLUTION NO. 2o04-241
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA,
ACCEPTING A GIFT OF $1,000 FROM THE CARLSBAD LIONS
CLUB AND APPROPRIATING DONATION TO THE LIBRARY
GIFTS AND BEQUESTS FUND.
WHEREAS, the Carlsbad Lions Club has donated $1,000 to the City for the
Carlsbad City Library, and;
WHEREAS, the Carlsbad Lions Club has requested this donation be used for
materials for visually impaired;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the City Council accepts the gift of $1,000 from the Carlsbad Lions Club
on behalf of all citizens of Carlsbad, and hereby appropriates these funds to
the Library Gifts and Bequests Fund.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council
day of the City of Carlsbad, California, at a regular meeting held on the 27th
Of July , 2004, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Finnila,
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
