A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
STATE TRAVEL FOR SUE IREY, COMMUNITY
VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR TO ATTEND THE 2004
INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON VOLUNTEER
ADMINISTRATION AT PORTLAND, OREGON, ON
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING OUT-OF-
OCTOBER 19-23
WHEREAS, the City Council concurs that it is in the public interest to authorize
out-of-state travel for Sue key, Community Volunteer Coordinator to attend the 2004
International Conference on Volunteer Administration IN Portland, Oregon.
the requested out-of-state travel.
WHEREAS, funds are available in the Communications Department budget for
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the out-of-state travel is hereby authorized in accordance with City policy
for Sue key, Community Volunteer Coordinator, to travel to Portland, Oregon,
to attend the 2004 Conference on Volunteer Administration.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council
of the City of Carlsbad on the 3rd day of AUqUst ,2004, by
the following vote:
AYES: Council Plenbers Lewis, Finnila, Kulchin, Hall and Packard
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
