RESOLUTION NO. 2004-274
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING PLANS AND
NAMING A PORTION OF HOSP GROVE PARK TO HIGH
NOON ROTARY PICNIC AREA AND DESIGNATING CITY
FUNDS FOR PASSIVE IMPROVEMENTS.
WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad approved the Hosp Grove Park passive improvements,
and
WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad approved of naming this area Hosp Grove High Noon
Rotary Picnic Area, and
WHEREAS, the City Council authorized expenditures from the Public Works Park
Operations budget to provide for these improvements,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct
2. That the City Council approves the plans for the Hosp Grove Park improvements.
3. That the City Council approves the naming of this improvement area as Hosp Grove
High Noon Rotary Picnic Area.

4. That the City Council authorized the expenditure of Public Works Park Operations
funds to provide for these improvements.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad on the 17th day of Auqust , 2004, by the following vote:
AYES: Cotlncil Members Lewis, Finilla, Hall and Packard.
NOES: None
ABSENT: Council Member Kulchin. A
