RESOLUTION NO. 2004-300
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING THE CITYS INTENTION TO
REQUIRE A BYPASS TEE FOR NEW BUILDING CONSTRUCTION,
AND SETTING THE PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER ADOPTION
OF ORDINANCE NO. NS-717
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, is considering to require
he installation of a bypass tee on new building construction to assist in performing recycled water
;hutdown testing; and
WHEREAS, the City Council may adopt Ordinance No. NS-717 to require new
luilding construction to install a bypass tee for recycled water testing.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
;alifornia, as follows:

That the above recitations are true and correct.
That the City does hereby declare its intention to proceed to authorize the
istallation of the bypass tee on new building construction, by adopting Ordinance No.

4. The public hearing to consider adoption of the proposed ordinance shall be held on
October 12, 2004 at the Council Chambers of the City of Carlsbad.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City Council
held on the 21st day of September , 2004 by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Finim Kulchin, Hall and Packard.
