RESOLUTION NO. 2004-368
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAIUSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING $25,000 IN GRANT FUNDING IN SUPPORT OF
THE CARRILLO RANCH BARBEQUE RESTORATION PROJECT.
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to accept the Home and Garden Television Grant
Award totaling $25,000 in support of the Carrillo Ranch Barbeque Restoration Project, and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to acknowledge the generosity and support of
contributors; Home and Garden Television, National Trust for Historic Preservation, and Save America’s
Treasures that provided the grant funds for the Barbeque Restoration Project; and
WHEREAS, on August 16,2004 the Parks and Recreation Commission received grant funds
totaling $25,000 and recommended acceptance by the Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the City Council does hereby accept the $25,000 in grant funding and supports the Barbeque
Restoration Project.
3. That the City Council hereby authorizes the Finance Director to appropriate the above funds, into the
Leo Carrillo Ranch Organization Key.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City Council held on
the 16th dayof- 2004 by the following vote, to wit:
ila, Kulchin, Hall and Packard.
