RESOLUTION NO. 2004-390
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE
RECOMMENDATION OF THE COMMUNITY ACTIVITY GRANT
CITIZEN REVIEW COMMITTEE AND ALLOCATING FUNDS TO
THE ORGANIZATIONS IDENTIFIED
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, appointed a seven-
member Citizen Review Committee to review Community Activity Grant applications and make a
recommendation for funding; and;
WHEREAS, the Citizen Review Committee has recommended six organizations and their
funding level.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the following organizations are hereby granted funds in the amounts shown from
the Community Activity Grants fund for the 2004-05 fiscal year in accordance with Council Policy
#51:
California Surf Museum - Sunday Surf Music Concert Series
Agua Hedionda Lagoon Foundation - Education & Exhibits Program
Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce - Village Design Competition
North County Vietnam Veterans Memorial Project
North Coastal Prevention Coalition - 4/20 Celebration
Hospice of the North Coast - Community Bereavement
