A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE DONATION OF
ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($1,000) TO THE CARLSBAD
SENIOR CENTER FROM THE CARLSBAD SENIOR CITIZENS’
ASSOCIATION.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, wishes to accept this donation
and acknowledge the generosity and support of Carlsbad Senior Citizens’ Association.
WHEREAS, on October 5,2004 the Senior Commission recommended acceptance of a donation
totaling $1,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, as
follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the City Council does hereby accept the donation totaling one thousand dollars ($1,000).
3. That the City Council authorizes the Finance Director to deposit the $1,000 donation into the
Senior Center Trust Fund #14345675651.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City Council held
on the 14th dayof December ,2004 by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Finnila, Kulchin, Hall and Packard.
