RESOLUTION NO. 2005-052
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
THE HELP DESK INSTITUE CONFERENCE
CARLSBAD, APPROVING OUT-OF-STATE TRAVEL TO ATTEND
WHEREAS, a City Council goal to promote and support continuous learning opportunities
within the Community and City organization, exists, and;
WHEREAS, the Information Technology Senior Management Analyst requires this training and
learning opportunity in order to keep up to date in the customer service and help desk fields, and;
WHEREAS, the Information Technology Department has budgeted the funds necessary to cover
the expenses of this conference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad as
follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That out-of-state travel is hereby authorized, in accordance with City
Policy, for the Information Technology Senior Management Analyst to attend the Help Desk Institute
Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad held on the 1 s t day of MARCH ,2005 by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Packard, Sigafoose
NOES: None
ABSENT: Council Member Hall
