RESOLUTION NO. 2005-090
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A DONATION IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,224.96
AND APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS.
WHEREAS, A catalogue was printed in conjunction with the 2004 Invitational Exhibition
held in the William D. Cannon Gallery, November 21 2004, through January 7, 2005.; and
WHEREAS The 2004 Invitational Exhibition, featured the works of four artists selected from
the 2003 Juried Biennial Exhibition, a program of the Cultural Arts Office co-sponsored by the
Carlsbad Friends of the Arts; and
WHEREAS, as co-sponsors of the Biennial Exhibition, the Friends are reimbursing the City
the cost of printing the catalogue prepared for the Invitational Exhibit.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That donation from Carlsbad Friends of the Arts in the amount of $3,224.96 to
reimburse the City for printing costs is hereby accepted.
3. That the Finance Director is hereby authorized to appropriate the $3,224.96 in the
Gallery General Fund org key.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City
of Carlsbad on the 5th day of APRJT, , 2005, by the following vote:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Hall, Kulchin, Packard,Sigafoose
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
