RESOLUTION NO. 2005-224
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMEND1 NG CONSULTANT SERVICE
AGREEMENTS WITH B&G CONSULTANTS AND NTD
ARCHITECTS, INCORPORATED FOR AVIARA COMMUNITY PARK,
PROJECT NO. 3699-1.
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined it necessary and in the public interest to construct
Aviara Community Park; and
WHEREAS, an increase in the amount of $275,596 is necessary to continue consultant
services for construction management and redesign and architectural construction phase services; and
WHEREAS, Public Facility Fee funds are available in the Aviara Community Park capital
improvement project budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California,
as follows:

That the above recitations are true and correct.
That funds in the amount of $162,500 AND $1 13,096 are hereby approved to increase
the consultant agreements with B&G Consultants and NTD Architects, Incorporated, respectively, for
the Aviara Community Park project, Project No. 3699-1.
3. That Amendment No. 1 to the construction management agreement with B&G
Consultants is hereby approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute
said amendment.

4. That Amendment No. 2 for the redesign and architectural construction phase services
agreement with NTD Architects, Incorporated is hereby approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are
suthorized and directed to execute said amendment.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City Council held
3n the 19th day of July , 2005 by the following vote, to wit:
