ACCEPTANCE OF THE DONATION OF A 2005
THE CARLSBAD GIRLS CLUB TO THE CARLSBAD
CITY LIBRARY ADULT LEARNING PROGRAM
DODGE SPRINTER IO-PASSENGER VAN FROM
WHEREAS, The Board of Directors of the Carlsbad Girls Club has
purchased a 2005 Dodge Sprinter Van and donated this vehicle to the Carlsbad
City Library for the Adult Learning Program; and
WHEREAS, The City Council wishes to accept this gift on behalf of all
citizens of Carlsbad;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad, California, as follows:

That the above recitations are true and correct.
That the City Council accepts the gift of the van for the purpose
expressed.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, held on the 16th day of
AUGUST , 2005, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Hall
NOES: None
ABSENT: Council Member Packard
