RESOLUTION NO. 2005260
JTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CIT’I OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE
APPLICATION FOR THE SAN DIEGO SERVICE
AUTHORITY FOR FREEWAY EMERGENCIES MOTORIST
AID PROJECTS GRANT (PHASE 11) BY THE CARLSBAD
FIRE DEPARTMENT FOR VEHICLE EXTRICATION AND
RESCUE EQUIPMENT
WHEREAS, the Fire Department meets the eligibility criteria to apply for the San Diego
Service Authority For Freeway Emergencies (SAFE) Motorist Aid Projects Grant (Phase 11) for
fire vehicle extrication and rescue equipment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That staff is authorized to apply for the San Diego Service Authority For Freeway
Emergencies (SAFE) Motorist Aid Projects Grant (Phase 1I) for fire vehicle extrication
and rescue equipment.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad on the 16th day of AUGUST 2005, by the following vote:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Hall, Kulchin, Sigafoose
NOES: None
ABSENT: Council Member Packar
