HomeMy WebLinkAbout2006-04-25; City Council; Resolution 2006-107£3U ^ . b, 4 j RESOLUTION NO. 2006-107 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING OUT-OF-STATE TRAVEL FOR CITY EMPLOYEES TO ATTEND A WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION INCIDENT COMMAND TRAINING CLASS IN ANNISTON, ALABAMA. WHEREAS, the City Council concurs that it is in the public interest to authorize out-of-state travel for City employees attend a training class on Weapons of Mass Destruction Incident Command; and WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes that this is a an opportunity to obtain valuable training that could ensure the safety of the citizens of Carlsbad during an emergency; and WHEREAS, the training class, including transportation, lodging, and meals is at no cost to the City, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, as follows: 1 . That the above recitations are true and correct. 2. That out-of-state travel is hereby authorized in accordance with City policy for five City employees to travel to Anniston, Alabama to attend a training class in Weapons of Mass Destruction Incident Command procedures. //(A PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, held on the 25th day of April 2006, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Council Members Lewis, Hall, Kulchin, Packard, Sigafoose NOES: None ABSENT: None ATTEST: LORRAINE M.
