CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING CONTRACT
3 DOCUMENTS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS, AND
. SPECIFICATIONS, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK
TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR SUMMER 2006 CITY
5 WIDE CURB, GUTTER, SIDEWALK REPAIR CONTRACT
NO. PWS06-30STS / PROJECT NO. PWGS218.

WHEREAS, the contract documents, special provisions, and specifications for
7
the furnishing of all labor, material, and equipment necessary to conduct citywide curb,8
9 gutter, and sidewalk repairs have been prepared and are on file in the Public Works /
10 General Services office and are incorporated by reference herein; and
11 WHEREAS, sufficient construction funds are available in the General Fund,
12 Streets Maintenance budget for this project.
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
14 Carlsbad, California, as follows:

1. That the above recitations are true and correct.

2. That the contract documents, special provisions, and specification on file
18 in the Public Works / General Services office are hereby approved.
19 3. That the City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and
20 directed to proceed to publish, in accordance with law, Notice Inviting Bids for
21 the work of said contract documents, special provisions and specifications.22 //23 //

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council
of the City of Carlsbad on the 27th day of June, 2006, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Hall, Kulchin, Packard, Sigafoose
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
