2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING DONATIONS OF
3 $3,497.75 IN CASH IN SUPPORT OF THE CARRILLO
4 RANCH TRUST FUND, LEO CARRILLO RANCH HISTORIC
PARK

6 WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to accept the donation of cash donations
7 totaling $3,497.75 in support of the Carrillo Ranch Trust Fund; and,
8 WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to acknowledge the generosity and support
9
of individuals, groups, organizations, and anonymous contributors that donated to the
10 Trust; and,
11
WHEREAS, on June 19, 2006, the Parks and Recreation Commission received
12
donations totaling $3,497.75, and recommended acceptance by the City Council.
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
15 Carlsbad, California, as follows:
16 1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
17 2. That the City Council does hereby accept $3,497.75 in cash.
18 3. That the City Council hereby authorizes the Finance Director to
19
appropriate the above funds into the Carrillo Ranch Trust Fund, account
20
#1494504-5651.21

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council
of the City of Carlsbad held on the 1st day of August, 2006, by the following vote:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Hall, Kulchin, Packard, Sigafoose
