2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR
3 VARIOUS POLICE EQUIPMENT AND AUTHORIZING
4 REIMBURSEMENT THROUGH THE LAW ENFORCEMENT
TERRORISM PREVENTION PROGRAM

6 WHEREAS, Carlsbad Police Department has been allocated funds for
7 reimbursement through the State Homeland Security Law Enforcement Terrorism
8 Prevention Program to enhance capabilities for detecting, deterring, disrupting, and
9 preventing acts of terrorism; and
10 WHEREAS, Carlsbad Police Department has purchased interoperability
11
communications equipment totaling $57,927.08 that meets the criteria for allowable
12
costs for full reimbursement as set forth in the grant.
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
15 Carlsbad, California, as follows:
16 1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the Finance Director is authorized to appropriate $57,927.08 for Law
18 Enforcement Terrorism Prevention Program purchases.

3. That the police department is authorized to submit for reimbursement for
20
Law Enforcement Terrorism Prevention Program purchases.
