2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING DONATIONS
3 FROM WASTE MANAGEMENT AND THE GEMOLOGICAL
4 INSTITUTE OF AMERICA TO THE CARLSBAD
CITYSTUFF PROGRAM.

6 WHEREAS, Waste.Management have donated $1,000 to the Carlsbad CityStuff
7 program; and
8 WHEREAS, the Gemological Institute of America have donated the value of an
9 in-kind donation of $15,480 to the Carlsbad CityStuff program; and
10 WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad accepts the gifts to the Carlsbad CityStuff

program and appropriates the funds to the said account;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad, California, as follows:
15 1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
16 2. That the City Council accepts the gift of $1,000 from Waste Management
17 ' and the value of an in-kind donation of $15,480 from the Gemological
1 8 Institute of America on behalf of all citizens of Carlsbad, and hereby
19
appropriates the donation to the CityStuff program fund.
