RESOLUTION NO.2006-367
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE MASTER
AGREEMENT ADMINISTERING AGENCY-STATE
AGREEMENTS FOR FEDERAt-AID PROJECTS (AGREEMENT
NO. 11-5308R) AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR
HIS DESIGNATED REPRESENTATIVE, TO EXECUTE
PROGRAM SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENTS, AND/OR ANY
AMENDMENTS THERETO WITH THE CALIFORNIA
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION.
WHEREAS, the California Department of Transportation has revised the Master
Agreement for Federal-Aid Projects; and
WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds it necessary, desirable, and in the public
interest to approve said agreement; and
WHEREAS, disbursement of State and Federal funds requires a Program Supplement
Agreement for each project; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds the receipt of this supplemental funding is beneficial
to the transportation system for both the City and the State; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it would be more expedient and cost-effective and,
therefore, in the best interest of the City to authorize the City Manager, or his designated
representative, to execute Program Supplement Agreements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the Master Agreement between the California Department of Transportation
and the City of Carlsbad is hereby approved and the Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby
authorized and directed to execute the said agreement.
3. The City Council finds it would be more expedient and cost-effective and,
therefore, in the best interest of the City to authorize the City Manager, or his designated
representative, to execute Program Supplement Agreements

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council
of the City of Carlsbad on the 19th day of December, 2006, by the following vote:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Hall, Packard, Sigafoose
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
